Cherry Tomatoes

Balls of Fresh Mozzarella

Fresh Basil Leaves

This is an incredibly easy recipe that just requires some assembly. All you have to do for this recipe is to put the tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil in an alternating pattern on kabob skewers. Put two tomatoes, two balls of fresh mozzarella, and two basil leaves on each skewer. If you want to add a little more flavor, add some minced garlic or freshly ground black pepper to the cherry tomatoes and mozzarella. You can also lightly saute the tomatoes in olive oil and garlic cloves to add flavor before putting them on the skewer.

Pack of Melba Toast

Crumbled Feta Cheese or Soft Spreadable Goat Cheese

Jar of Pesto

This is another simple appetizer that you can quickly whip up before a party. Melba Toast  is available at any health foods store. All you have to do with this recipe is arrange the melba toast on a tray, top with spreadable goat cheese and add on pesto. If you prefer feta cheese over goat cheese, that works just as well! For extra flavour and colour, add some sundried tomatoes as garnish. For a paleo-friendly version, you can use cucumber slices, radish slices, flaxseed crackers, or beef jerky squares as a substitute for the Melba Toast.

 

Berry Fruit Saladberry fruit salad

If you want to bring an appetizer that is healthy and a little sweet, a berry fruit salad is a great idea. This appetizer is easy to put together and can easily be made the night before the party. For a festive flair, add in some cranberries to  give it a delicious holiday flavor. This recipe on eating well includes a berry puree and a lemon curd topping.
